About Us

Safe Kids Central Georgia is a coalition led by the Macon-Bibb Health Department. Our mission is to prevent accidental injury for children nineteen and under throughout Bibb, Crawford, Jasper, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Putnam, Twiggs, Washington, and Wilkinson counties. We accomplish this through education, equipment, enforcement, and awareness. 

Our Lead Agency

Our lead agency is the Macon- Bibb County Health Department. The Macon-Bibb County Health Department is dedicated to preventing disease, promoting health and protecting our community against health threats through education, service, advocacy and collaboration. We offer more than 30 different programs and services, all focused on protecting you, your family and your community. We have a commitment to protect your health wherever you live, work, and play.
