Driving the message contest

There has been a surge this school year in the participation of teen driving safety programming within middle and high schools across the state and the momentum surely isn’t slowing down. Teens in the Driver Seat® encourages responsible, safe driving behaviors among teens in schools across the country by facilitating peer conversations and increasing student risk awareness. Over the next few weeks participating schools have the opportunity to take part in the 12th Annual Driving the Message Contest.  Students looking for an opportunity to apply your artistic skills while promoting teen driving safety, well this is surely a contest you won’t want to miss!

Year after year, this has become a favorite event amongst our returning schools statewide and there is a ton of excitement and anticipation around the new innovative posters that will be submitted this year. The contest is open to any middle and high school student groups. Also, schools that haven’t had the chance to sign up for the Teens in the Driver Seat® program don’t worry it’s not too late. Visit https://safekidsgeorgia.org/teendrivingsafety/ for all the details on getting your school enrolled today and receiving your free educational kit filled with amazing resources.

Poster entries are currently being accepted and the deadline for submission is Friday, January 25, 2019.  This contest features amazing award opportunities for schools to receive funds as first, second and third place recipients.
