Safe Kids Fayette County was formed in December 1992, with the Environmental Health Division of the Fayette County Health Department as Lead Agency.

 

Since the organization of the Safe Kids Fayette County Coalition, we have reached over 87,000 individuals through the following events and programs:

  • Child Safety Fairs
  • Celebrity Bagging Events
  • Child Safety Seat Checks
  • Road Blocks with Law Enforcement
  • Bike Safety Rodeos
  • 1-on-1 Car Seat Education Sessions
  • Various child safety classes for schools, daycare centers, church groups, support groups and other local organizations
  • Risk Watch Program
  • Ghost Out Program
