On Thursday, July 12th Safe Kids Georgia attended the MedKids camp at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Egleston to bring awareness to the middle schoolers in attendance about the importance of being safe while they have fun this summer! The Safe Kids Summer Interns broke the ice by playing Musical Chairs with a safety twist. Whoever landed on the “special chair” marked with a sticker had to answer a safety question. After the game, the kids participated in a Safety Billboard competition. They paired up into teams of two and designed a poster with an illustration and a safety slogan. The teams with the top 3 posters won various Safe Kids Georgia prizes. We loved how enthusiastic and engaged all of the kids were and we can’t wait to come back next year!
