Sharing is caring!

On Thursday, July 11th, Safe Kids Georgia attended the MedKids event at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Egleston to educate middle schoolers on the importance of being safe during their summer break. The Safe Kids Interns broke the ice by playing a trivia game filled with important safety tips to consider every day. After the trivia game, the kids participated in a safety poster activity. The kids were split up into 5 groups of 4 and were asked to write their best safety tip for each safety area poster set up around the room. Some of the responses given included “check your smoke alarms frequently” or “always look both ways before crossing the street.” We loved seeing how well the kids worked together and took turns to write important tips to consider. Overall, it was a very successful day at Egleston and we can’t wait to come back next year!
